I Had to Burn it Down

September 1, 2025

2007
Fresh out of grad school.
While most people were playing it safe, my business partner and I decided to go for it – we launched a boutique leadership and culture consulting firm.
In the middle of a recession.
No investors. No playbook.
Just guts, heart, and a belief that we could help leaders do better.
And guess what? It worked.
We built something meaningful, worked with amazing clients, grew a team, and made a real Impact.
It was one of the most rewarding seasons of my career.
Then in 2019, I merged with a global firm – Steople.
That chapter expanded everything.
I got to work with great friends across industries and continents, sit on an executive team, and see firsthand how big companies really operate.
I got sharper.
More curious.
More convinced about what outstanding leadership should look like – and what it shouldn’t.
And I scaled. Fast.
So fast, I worked all the fun out of what I was doing. That is the real, hard truth.
I knew we had to burn it down. It took us a few months, but now…
It’s time for the next chapter.
Introducing The Leti Company.
Leti isn’t just a rebrand.
It’s a reset. A revolt. A bold new direction.
We still do the deep work: Building brave leaders
Repairing and strengthening culture
Driving strategy that actually sticks
But here’s what matters most: We still have an incredible team.
We still partner with courageous, brilliant clients who are willing to do the hard, human work.
And we still believe that real growth and change don’t come from training slides – it comes from conversations that shift people and systems.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll share more about what Leti is, what we stand for, and where we’re headed.
If you’re tired of playing it safe and ready to lead differently…

Let’s talk.
